Blue Star Progamme
We are very proud to say that our school has completed the Blue Star Programme this year. The Blue Star Programme teaches primary school pupils about European cultures and the EU through creative activities and projects. Well done to all the pupils and staff who put amazing work into the programme!
Blue Star Visit!
We were incredibly lucky to welcome Croatian Ambassador, Mr. Davor Vidiš, Minister Eamon Ryan, Senator Pippa Hackett and Cllr Mark Hackett to our school on Friday, May 10th, as recognition for our work on the Blue Star Programme, Green Schools and Safe Routes to School. They praised all of the great work being done across the school in these areas and spoke to the children about their work!
St. Brigid’s Day in Scoil Bhríde
Fr. Lawton and Deacon Wyer joined us to celebrate a special mass for St Brigid’s Day. Before the ceremony Fr. Lawton blessed our Brat Bhríde/St Brigid’s Cloak sculpture which sits in front of our school.

APPLICATION DATES FOR SPRAOI CLASSES (JUNIOR INFANT MAINSTREAM CLASSES)

| The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on | 29th January 2024 |
| The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is | 19th February 2024 |
| The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is | 26th February 2024 |
APPLICATION DATES FOR SONAS CLASSES (ASD PRIMARY SPECIAL CLASSES)
| The school will commence accepting applications for admission to the special class on | 8th January 2024 |
| The school shall cease accepting applications for admission to the special class on | 12th February 2024 @ 10.00am |
| The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application for admission to the special class is | 4th March 2024 |
| The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is | 11th March 2024 |

Enrolment for Junior Infants 2024
Enrolment for Junior Infant pupils will take place from January 8th-29th 2024.
The school will begin to accept enrolment application forms for the 2024/25 school year on January 8th, 2024.
Enrolment forms are available to download here or upon request by emailing enrolment@scoilbhrideps.com. Please complete the form and return it to enrolment@scoilbhrideps.com or info@scoilbhrideps.com.
Alternatively, you can send your form by post. The address is Scoil Bhríde, Killane, Edenderry, Co. Offaly R45X951.
Enrolment forms will also be available at the school reception from January 8th, 2024, between 9:30am and 3:00pm, Monday – Friday. Please ensure all relevant documentation is included with the enrolment form.

Green Schools Letters from An Taoiseach and the President
Last May, our school was awarded its 5th Green Flag for the tremendous effort that it makes to promote Biodiversity around the school. Recently, we received two letters, one from An Taoiseach and from the Office of the Secretary General to The President of Ireland congratulating us on this success. Well done to everyone involved!!
