Scoil Bhríde is full of festive cheer at the moment with the build up to the Christmas period in full swing.
On Wednesday the 5th of December our 4th classes extended some “Yule Tide” cheer to our friends in Ofalia House. This was a sing song that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Our 1st, 3rd and 5th classes are working very hard, putting the final touches to their Christmas performances. There is no doubt we are certainly in for a treat with all our budding actors and actresses showcasing their talents on the 19th and 20th of December.
The remainder of the school is currently filling our halls with the sound of carols and they sound just fantastic! On Tuesday the 11th of December our 2nd, 4th and 6th classes will share Christmas spirit in the community while carol singing at Dunnes Stores and again on the 19th and 20th of December during our in-school Christmas performances.
Some of our classes have already embarked on one of our favourite school trips of the year – the panto! Our 5th and 6th classes were treated to a marvellous performance of the Snow Queen in the Gaiety Theatre while the remainder of our classes will be helping “Elfie Save Christmas” in the coming days.
We also got great news from the North Pole, yes you heard it here first! On Friday December 14th Santa Claus will be taking time out from his busy schedule to visit the boys and girls in Scoil Bhríde. Wow aren’t they so lucky!
